Aaron Woodley Biography

Born and raised in Toronto, Woodley began his film pursuits at a young age studying the techniques of animation at the Art Gallery of Ontario.After later graduating from York University's film production department, Woodley would work in the industry as a writer, stop-motion animator and editor - receiving two Gemini nominations.He went on to direct three award winning short films - "The Wager" in 1998, "Bed & Breakfast" in 2000 and "Downpour" also in 2000."Rhinoceros Eyes", Woodley's first feature film, debuted at the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival where it won the Discovery Award. The film stars Michael Pitt ("Boardwalk Empire", "The Dreamers").His sophomore feature, "Tennessee", was an indy road-trip drama starring Mariah Carey and produced by Lee Daniels ("Precious", "Monsters Ball"). "Tennessee" was followed by the thriller, "The Entitled", starring Kevin Zegers "Transamerica") and Ray Liotta ("Goodfellas").
