Hiro Koda Biography

Hiro came into the television and film industry at the young age of 12, when he received his SAG card by doing a national commercial. By the age of 17, he was using his martial arts background to break into the stunt world.After having worked constantly for several years as a stuntman in various TV shows and Feature Films, Hiro was given the opportunity to be the Fight coordinator/Fight director for the movie The Mummy Returns (2001). That led him to many other projects.Aspiring to be a film-maker, Hiro has progressively moved up in the industry from being a Stuntman/Fight Coordinator to becoming a Stunt Coordinator/Second Unit Director, and has become a member of the Directors Guild of America. Most recently he has just finished directing his first short film, "Footprints." Currently, Hiro has been Producing and Directing several "Webisodes" for Future Flix Entertainment, the newest wave of action vignettes accessible via the Internet. Hiro is also a member of the renowned stunt group, Stunts Unlimited.
