Indrani Biography

Iconic image creator Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri is a renowned photographer, director, actress, author and digital artist. Born in Calcutta, India, Indrani began a successful modeling and TV commercial career at the age of 14, traveling the globe and studying philosophy and photography with great artists. Indrani co-founded SEEschool.org, which provides free education to over 300 impoverished children and women. Indrani earned a High Honors BA in Anthropology at Princeton University, and mastered digital art/post-production in Paris and New York.With harpist Markus Klinko, Indrani developed a unique photographic style and became known as "two of photography's biggest talents" (American Photo magazine, 2009). Discovered by fashion icon Isabella Blow, David Bowie, and Iman, the award-winning duo are now known for their images of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Will Smith, Kate Winslet, Daphne Guinness, Anne Hathaway, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Mendes, Jay Z, and Britney Spears among others, and their fashion editorials and ad campaigns. Indrani is also the author of forthcoming "Image Craft" (Harper One).Indrani stars in Bravo's "Double Exposure," a docu-drama series co-starring Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, Lindsay Lohan, Dita Von Teese and friends, behind the scenes of her glamorous and dramatic photo shoots.
